253) Illuminated leaf from Book of Hours on parchment, France, probably Tours, dating back to the second half of the 15th century.
Dimensions 135 x 95 mm. about. Writing space 70 x 55 mm. Gothic text on a single column of 14 lines in black ink.
The decoration includes two capital letters O on 4 lines inhabited respectively by St. Dionigi and St. Sebastian.
The miniatures are made in "camaieau d'or" or with only liquid gold and brown, typical of the Tours school.
